Emilda Morgans – Solicitor, TEP

Consultant Solicitor

Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 1993, I have demonstrated consistent commitment to continued learning and development in my chosen fields. I have been a registered Estates and Trust Practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2002, and I am exceedingly happy to be working with a firm that shares my commitment to providing the very best in private client services and continued personal and professional development.

I have been a partner in 3 Yorkshire private client firms and feel privileged to have been able to provide honest, reliable advice throughout my career. I believe it is important to lead with sensitivity and professionalism with matters of Probate and Estate Planning, and to ensure clients are treated not just fairly, but as I would expect my own family to be treated during what are often delicate times.

During my career, I have led seminars and delivered numerous presentations covering areas such as; inheritance tax planning, importance of wills and tidying up personal affairs, long term care issues and preservation of assets through family trusts.

My areas of expertise are; estate administration, preparation of wills, tax advice including inheritance tax (IHT) planning, capital gains tax and income tax for trusts and estates, creation and administration of trusts (including personal injury trusts), Court of Protection and enduring/lasting powers of attorney, asset preservation and general elderly care advice.
